commissioning a project

We can estimate the cost of a project at quite an early stage (often before making drawings), and indicate factors that might alter the final cost. Usually we can make a firm quotation for the entire job before you make a financial commitment.

You actually commission the work by paying the agreed deposit (normally 50%), when it joins the queue of work for the workshop. Because we only build to order (and so have no stock) we always have a backlog of work. When you need to meet specific dates, you should discuss this with us at an early stage.

When we need to do detailed work before you can commission the job, we can quote and execute survey and design work separately.

The personnel listed to the right are the people you are likely to work with. Senior makers are responsible for the teams that make and install specific items.
