Yet another project which truly demonstrates our ability to collaborate with others is this pied-a terre in Eaton Square, London. We worked very closely on the designs with the architect Nico Rensch.

It was then over to our team in Devon to design, engineer and manufacture the required pieces for the living room, kitchen, dressing room, bedroom and bathroom. To say nothing of the doors; which we hand crafted for nearly all the apartment.

The theme throughout the property was black and white, or at least light and dark. The dark was ebony, wenge, stained teak; the light, silver threaded fabric, raw silk, polished plaster, and plenty of lights, mirrors and pale stone in the bathroom.

Throughout the apartment we produced some truly outstanding pieces of furniture which we are hugely proud of. Much of this furniture involved clever selection of materials to both complement and contrast where appropriate.

Particular examples that really stand out for us included the long slim counter and breakfast bar in the kitchen which were constructed using anthracite stained quilted maple, the painted card table in the lounge with built in storage below and the walnut fire surround and the display cabinet in unstained pale honey quilted maple and wenge.

The contrasts in tone helped to make a small space feel larger and the whole project was a good opportunity to show off our extensive cabinet making skills.
