For over 50 years, William Garvey Ltd has worked with interior designers, architects, contractors and private clients on exceptional projects across the UK and around the world.
From a villa in Qatar to a company HQ in the Isle of Man, from superyachts to London homes in Eaton Square, Holland Park and Queen’s Gate Terrace, our work is as varied as it is exacting. All from a peaceful, rural setting that belies the pace and precision of a business that works to global timescales.

Though our workshops are situated among the fields, hedgerows and trees of Devon, we are located only 20 minutes away from Exeter’s international airport and direct rail connections to London. We are always delighted to receive existing and potential clients who would like to see first-hand how every project goes from concept to finished piece. Every detail, form and line has purpose
We design, make and fit unique furniture and interiors, tailored precisely to each space and brief. From inlaid dining tables, leather-bound desks and hand-built libraries, to wooden baths, bespoke wardrobes, and entire kitchens, bathrooms or steam rooms – every commission is made to order, with purpose and precision.
Our team is often called upon for the pieces that others won’t attempt, not because they’re grander, but because they’re more complex. A leather-stitched ping pong table with a glass net. A sculptural tree-shaped bookcase. A cedar of Lebanon pergola the size of a house. Challenges are welcome and often become our finest work.

With over 30 experienced craftspeople, project managers and an exceptional drawing office, we bring calm, capable hands to every project whether it’s one intricate piece or a complete interior fit-out.
Our considerable network of trusted specialist craftspeople and highly skilled artisans act as an extension of our team on larger scale projects and those that require very specific skillsets.
